Applying this manifesto in our practice, we strive to be....

Co-designers & collaborators: We work with people to bring about innovative solutions to ‘wicked’ problems. Together, we start changes early as we know that “it is easier to act yourself into a new way of thinking than to think yourself into a new way of acting”.

Experimenters: We evolve our practice and take our own medicine, otherwise we can’t help people take theirs. Fast and frequent delivery of changes help us learn, get better, and deliver more results.

Makers: Instead of getting buy-in i.e. selling people an idea, we focus on gaining real involvement by extending power and responsibility to develop the idea. We build people’s capabilities from the start rather than create any dependency.

'System’ changers: We know that you only really understand a system when you start to change it (as Kurt Lewin said). We clarify the non-negotiables of the change, whilst also identifying where there is the freedom to act.

Facilitators: We don’t have the answers; we believe you do. You might not know it yet and that’s where we help. We help unpick the status quo so teams can share success and pain to make improvements together. Improvements are best achieved in teams. Give them the environment and support they need and trust them to get the job done.
